TADA!
i love PAINT. though my skills aren't that good. & i still can't figure out whether JPG or BMP looks nicer.
but still.
TADA!!
gah. living in one country and the kitchen in another is dreadfully torturing.

u get all those darn good (but really weird) recipes in your head, but you can't even make it!!

the closest i have to a kitchen here in the hostel is a microwave. unless you count the kitchen in the dining hall, which is about as clean as a frequently frequented (i like this word!) public toilet by unsanitary people.

*cries

ohwell. at least i have the 2 queens of baking, Cakespy and Bakerella, as well as the queen of cooking, The Pioneer Woman to tide me over till the much awaited holidays.

*stares sadly at pictures and descriptions of delish food and cakes i can only see, while the taste floats enticingly out of reach.

ARGH!!!

i am seriously in trouble. looking at food makes me hungry, and i already polished off at least 2 mini packets of M&Ms and a Cadbury mini-bar! thankgoodness im too thin so i have to eat more. or else i shall have to barf(not like i actually have the courage to do that. do you know how corrosive your stomach acid is!! i CANNOT have rotten teeth or my orthodontist will kill me). but anyways, i shall have to go.

goodbye internet, hello ice-cream!
Is this not the world'd cutest cupcake? Even though it isn't exactly edible, but still!

I got it @ here

lala~~

i lurve cupcakes and icing and cakes
I love food. specially cupcakes and cakes. and cupcake-related crafts.

Cakespy made this TOTALLY CUTE fake cupcakes. check it out @ here

I should really try this out. except of course, substituting pink for lavender or lilac.

Recipe for cake I am making up as i go along

Ingredients
100g flour
50g sugar
2 eggs
about a cup of milk
  1. Preheat the oven to around 190 degrees Celsius
  2. sift flour and sugar together
  3. seperate egg whites and egg yolks
  4. pour egg whites into dry ingredients
  5. MIX WELL
  6. Add a pinch each of salt and pepper to the egg yolks
  7. Mix before pouring into flour mixture
  8. Pour in milk while mixing the ingredients, until the consistency is smooth
  9. Pour the batter into cute cupcake liners of your choice
  10. Bake for about 20-30 minutes
  11. Remove from oven and let it cool

I really haven't tried this before, but I WILL TRY IT. gotta wait for June hols, though.

can cakes be made with ice-cream?

not the kind where its just a layer of cake and a slab of ice-cream on top. i meant subsituting milk for melted ice-cream. perhaps i should try it. IF ONLY I HAD TIME. but ohwell, the sands of time may shift, but cake always emerges top (albeit a little sandy)

which reminds me. i forgot to take pics of the BEST SANDWICH EVER which i made over the weekend. WHY AM I SO FORGETFUL!!! *slams head on keyboard*

ouch. okay then. shall go nurse my poor aching head. byby for now.

THE BEST SANDWICH EVER

the best sandwich evah
-take 2 slices of white bread

(or anything else if you're health concious)

-fry an egg

(for the best look, make sure you can see both the egg white AND the yolk clearly)

-put the fried egg on a slice of bread

-put a thick layer of tomato sauce on the egg

-slap the other slice on top

-take a large bite and faint

i think im addicted to cooking.

i shall invent my own recipes.
